We are joined by University Professor Jill Hasday from the University of Minnesota Law School. Her book exposes common understandings of American law and society. In what way? Because too many of the stories told about it are about We the Men. Courts, legislators, media and others have either ignored the struggles that women have made for equality, or exaggerate their successes. For over a century, the standard claims are that sexism is over and sex discrimination has been left behind. We the Men turns this narrative on its head -- with hundreds of examples, Professor Hasday shows us that there is still much to be done in this battle.
