Mid-Session 7 Mar 22: Market pushes lower despite surging commodity prices

The Australian sharemarket is coming under pressure so far on Monday, with strong gains from our mining and energy stocks unable to completely offset losses from all other sectors. Oil prices have jumped by 14-year highs as the Russia-Ukraine war escalates further.
