Welcome back! In this episode we welcome a very special guest, Aisha Wahab! Aisha is our amazing cousin who we look up to a lot. She is currently the Hayward Mayor Pro Tempore and is the first Afghan American woman elected in to public office in the United States! Like... what?! How amazing is that. In this episode the TDP Crew share memories, laugh, and more importantly talk about serious issues going on in the world, specifically the turmoil that is occurring in Afghanistan. Our hearts are broken and we figured Aisha would be the perfect person to help educate us on what's happening in our homeland and a brief history of our people. We love you all so, so much.
