The European Parliament will today vote on the EU-Canada trade deal known as CETA. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement will remove tariffs on most goods and services between the EU and Canada. Critics of the deal say it will increase inequalities between the rich and poor and that it gives too much power to big corporations. However, those in favour of it argue it will bring much needed trade to EU Countries. The Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly believes the deal will be good for Ireland.
