The Purpose of the Proverbs and the Posture for Receiving Wisdom - Proverbs 1:1-7 - March 2, 2025

The wisdom of Proverbs comes with many blessings. How gracious God is to guide us in his ways. We must remember that there is a posture of mind and heart that is necessary for obtaining wisdom. This is the fear of the Lord. To fear the Lord is to be aware of his character and ways, to respect and worship him, and to humbly listen to him and submit to his word. The fear of the Lord is the relational context in which receive the grace of wisdom and understanding.

Grace Community Church exists to build spiritually healthy people for ministry in the world. One of the ways that we pursue this mission is by gathering each Sunday for corporate worship, prayer, and biblical teaching.
