Why would a guy with a massive lead put himself in a position to be unnecessarily attacked by also-rans who have a fraction of his support? Instead, he did a one-on-one with Tucker Carlson on Twitter that garnered over a hundred million viewers. On a good night, Fox wouldn’t have that kind of audience. Even detractors would have to admit that this was a smart move. And the head of the Wagner mercenary group appears to have been killed in a plane crash in Russia.
