Vésma Kontere McQuillan is a Latvian born architect and writer currently living in Norway and is known for her architectural criticism for Latvian daily press. Since 2011 she is a Professor at Kristiania University College Kristiania, Oslo. McQuillan has developed a new Retail Design Bachelor program in 2013, the students of which are contributors to this publication. Since 2015 her research has been focused on OMA/AMO collaboration with/for Prada and particularly on the fashion shows, done in partnership between AMO and Prada, and the design process behind the scenes. A book Fashion Spaces/ A Theoretical View is a direct outcome of the conducted research.
