Kyle Brewer is truly making waves and shining a bright light to anyone around him. We will be discussing those who struggle with addiction and those living in long term recovery, as well as Kyle's personal journey with addiction.

Getting to know Kyle: "My name is Kyle Brewer and I'm a person in long term recovery from drugs and alcohol. I'm 30 years old and my recovery birthday is July 10, 2017. I spent 15 years of my life in active addiction. It's only by the grace of God that I'm alive today. I'm a certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PR) and 1 of 10 certified Peer Support Supervisors (PRPS) in the state. I have a Bachelors of Science (BS) in Addiction Studies from UCA. I was the first Peer Support Specialist in Arkansas to be stationed in an emergency department. I've led the development and implementation of peer support in a hospital setting, including the state's first program at UAMS which impacted approximately 600 people in 1 year. I'm supervising the development and implementation of a Peer Support Program in the Dewitt, AR District Court. I'm actively involved in the recovery community in Arkansas and around the country. God has given me the gift of recovery and allowed me to take my past and give it purpose by helping others break free from the vicious cycle of addiction. "

The end goal of these chats is to bring important conversations to the table to help increase awareness, spread love, and encourage people feel less alone.*
