WORLD WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS FOR THURSDAY, JULY 10, 2025
- Very little change was noted around the world overnight
- Market influences from the weather are unlikely to be great enough to seriously change market mentality
- U.S. weather will include alternating periods of rain and sunshine along with seasonable temperatures with some cooler biased conditions in the north-central states in this first week of the outlook
- Second week U.S. weather may include a little less intensity and frequency in rainfall along with slightly warmer-biased temperatures
- Showers in Canada will be welcome in the Prairies, although resulting rainfall will continue much less than that desired to support long term crop improvements
- France and the lower Danube River Basin will be driest in Europe for the next ten days
- Warming is likely to return in Europe this weekend and next week, but the extreme heat of earlier this month will not likely return
- Western and northern Russia, Belarus, the Baltic States, western Ukraine and northeastern Europe will remain wetter biased for the next five days with northeastern Europe drying after that while rain continues farther to the east for about ten days
- East-central China is drying down once again, but crop moisture will be fine for a little while
- No changes in Australia, Argentina, Brazil or South Africa were noted
- Argentina's greatest rain for winter wheat areas in the west will be next week, although some showers are expected today and Friday
