Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction: Common, Serious, and Treatable

Overview: Although heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is common and increasing in prevalence, persistent misconceptions, including a perceived lack of therapeutic options, limit its effective management.1,2 In this episode, featuring cardiologist Dr. John Ryan of the University of Utah, we will counteract these misconceptions through exploration of various HFpEF patient profiles, covering key aspects of HFpEF diagnosis and optimal management in inpatient and outpatient settings.
