Wake Up Tri-Counties Laboratory Services Week at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center

All of this week OSF Saint Luke Medical Center will be honoring the Laboratory Services Department. Lab techs and their hard working team are the folks who get the call whenever 'labs' are ordered by your doctor. This team is responsible for examining blood draws, performing blood tests for various types of screenings and sharing the results with doctors. It's an essential and unsung service at hospitals across the country. Thankfully, this week will honor the hard working and essential staff of the OSF Saint Luke Medical Center Laboratory and WKEI helped kickoff that celebration with a talk about Laboratory Services on Monday's edition of Wake Up Tri-Counties.
