Days of our Lives fans are in for a surprise as rumors of Blake Berris' return to the NBC soap opera are making the rounds. He's not coming back as Nick Fallon, but potentially in a brand new role or as a recast of an old character. 

Berris was last seen on the show on February 24th, 2023, as part of a plot involving Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).

The new chatter suggests that Barris plays the ex-boyfriend of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), who shows up in Salem on Friday, October 27th. This move is speculated to stir up drama between Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)
 and Stephanie, who have been in a serious relationship from the get-go. 

Meanwhile, there's a looming question about the identity of Stephanie's ex on DOOL. Past characters like Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), Nathan Horton (Mark Hapka), Max Brady (Darin Brooks), and Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) are being considered, but it could also be a new character from Stephanie's past in Seattle. 

More updates on this casting news are expected soon. In the meantime, fans are excited about the prospect of seeing Barris back on screen, whether as a love interest or nightmare ex on the Peacock soap opera.
