Irish MEP presents fundamental rights report to Parliament

An Irish MEP has presented a major report on the state of fundamental rights in the EU to the European Parliament.

 

Clare Daly negotiated with all parties on the Civil Liberties Committee to agree a text.

 

The Parliament will vote on the report this week and the findings will feed into the work of the European Commission.
