The Importance of Story Telling

Hi everyone I’m back again with another motivational video for you all. Today I want to talk to you about the importance of storytelling. There’s really only one good sure fire way to make sure someone remembers what it is you're trying to tell them. And the best way to get that message across is through a story.

The art of storytelling goes back to mankind's earliest days. Just look at our cave paintings from thousands of years ago. Since then they’ve evolved into books and novels, radio shows, movies and TV and now video games too. Storytelling is in every facet of human life.

The reason for that is because telling stories is such a powerful way to convey a message. By taking your message and turning it into a story you can grab the attention of others in ways you normally wouldn’t be able to. You can keep that attention longer and your listeners will be so much more engaged with what you have to say. So the next time you have an important message to convey with someone. Try turning it into a story and see just how much more engaged your listener will become.
