42: Supporting Veterans Through Opportunity: Part 2

In the second part of Mike's conversation with Impact Networking, the group discusses how to recruit and retain veterans in their company. From references to internships, there are many ways to attract former military people into the job pool. They also discuss why Impact is such a great place to work, and the opportunities for employees to move up the ranks of management. Of course, they also talk about their favorite Sinatra songs! Impact is one of the fastest-growing managed services providers in the nation, employing over 900+ industry experts at 23 locations across the US. An important initiative within Impact is the hiring and support of military veterans, who represent 5% of the dealership’s employees. Frank Cucco, CEO of Impact, had this to say: “The great thing about veterans is they’re disciplined, they’re organized, they’re strategic. They have technical training. It’s awesome. It’s been a really great idea that we were able to execute.”

Cynthia Bennet is one of the leaders of this initiative as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition. She is joined by Logan Hall and Matt Curless, both of whom are former Marines.
