Ep 45: Literally every aspect of our lives involves plastic. It's everywhere! Over 80,000 tons of plastic is thrown out every DAY just in the USA and of that only 5% ever gets recycled. The rest ends up in landfills and oceans. What type of impact is that having not only on our planet, but our bodies as well?! On this episode we explore the rise of plastic, what it is, and how we became so dependent on this synthetic moldable compound. We also chat about what it does to the ocean, animals, human bodies as well as microplastics and what we can do to help combat this environmental catastrophe.
