Hey all, Gabe here.

Today, is a new day.

The quietness from this podcast feed has been on purpose as WBC moves forward with a soft rebrand and restructure.
The Wannabe Critic podcast is very near and dear to my heart as the founder of WBC productions, but after a month or so of thought I feel like its place in the network needs to evolve.

My favorite thing to talk about has always been things that are relatively topical, and that feeling of being able to let it all out on what I think has been missing for a long time. We go into that a bit more in this episode, so you will have to tune in to find out what I'm talking about.

The Wannabe Critic podcast is changing. From now on this podcast feed will feature hot takes and potentially unpopular opinions from two hosts on a semi regular basis, and the name we landed on (after we recorded the first episode) is;

Punch,
Counterpunch!

(Not saying there WONT be solo content from time to time)

A counter comes when you least expect it and is usually unanticipated.

The crazy things happening in fandom strike and then WE strike back when you least expect it with takes that are just as good as anyone elses.
