AM Report 5 Mar 18: trade war concerns rattled markets DOW off 71pts

US sharemarkets ended mixed on Friday as investors debated

whether higher US tariffs on steel and aluminium would spark a

trade war. Shares in key producers of steel products fell with

Caterpillar down 2.6% and General Motors down 1%. The Dow

Jones ended lower by 71 points or 0.3% after being down by 391

points.
