Frannie Rose is a spiritual teacher, inspirational speaker, co-founder of the nonprofit organization One Simple Voice, and author of the new book The Invitation: Uncovering God’s Longing to Be Heard.
After her career as a speech and language pathologist was derailed by the sudden onset of an unknown illness at the age of thirty-two, Frannie spent seventeen years bedridden. In addition to having to give up her career, she became limited in her role as a mother to young toddlers. Faced with these losses, Frannie ultimately was forced to make a sobering choice: commit suicide or surrender to a God she believed had abandoned her. Remarkably, the path of surrender led Frannie not only to a diagnosis and treatment but also to a new life. The events Frannie describes in The Invitation took her on a spiritual path of enlightenment and discovery which she now shares with others in her teachings, writings, and workshops. Carolyn Gervais has been haunted since she was a little girl, with questions about why she was here on Earth and why God created humans.
