Eight volunteers from the American Red Cross of Colorado are deployed to Florida to provide shelter, food, emotional support, health services and recovery resources to the communities that could be affected by Hurricane Ian, which is expected to make landfall Thursday. The Red Cross is monitoring the situation closely and working with our partners in preparing to open hurricane evacuation shelters if requested.
