General Hospital spoilers show that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is seen making desperate attempts to shut down Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). 

GH spoilers show that Portia delves into Drew's medical records to uncover crucial information that might potentially strip him of his office and power. Drew is known to have caused turmoil in Portia's life, primarily through the blackmail about tampering with Heather Webber's (Robin Mattson) test results. 

The potential consequences for Portia include losing her medical license, imprisonment, and the dissolution of her relationship with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Portia's pursuit for a solution leads her to Drew's medical files, which might reveal his significant medical issues, including a past riddled with mind control experiences. 

This situation on GH draws parallels with the plot of the classic movie, The Manchurian Candidate. Drew's susceptibility to being mind-controlled by anyone in possession of the right tarot card and knowledge of the activation word raises concerns about his fitness for political office.
