Mid-Session 9 Dec 16: Local shares hit 4-month highs

The Australian market is improving for the fourth day and is only 1% below 16 month highs. Crown (CWN) is down 6% on reports of ATM withdrawal limits in Macau. Banks helping lift the market most.
