Cheruba Prabakar, MD, a minimally invasive surgeon, board-certified obstetrician–gynecologist, and Founder and CEO of Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery, discusses the new United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) breast cancer screening guidelines. While the guidelines recommend starting mammograms at age 40, Prabakar expressed concerns about the shift to biannual screenings, which could result in missed cancer cases.
