Sunday 12 Apr - The Cross, Lisa Crosby

We put our full hope on the return of Jesus, to make all things new - BUT we must remember as those who have been baptised, that we are given a new life. The old one is gone. The new life is already here in and with the Spirit, until we physically die and are fully resurrected.

However negatively we see ourselves, as a sinner, a loser, an idiot, ugly, not good enough, a reject or burden, all of that hung on the cross with Jesus and it died.

That’s no longer who we are.
