Morning Report 22 Apr 22: ASX set to fall as US markets lower on rate hikes concerns

US sharemarkets were weaker on Thursday after the US Federal Reserve chair flagged more aggressive rate hikes in coming months. Mega cap technology stocks fell the most. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index was down by 368 points or 1.1%. The S&P 500 index fell by 1.5%. And the Nasdaq index lost 278 points or 2.1%.
