Journalist’s murder raised in European Parliament

The recent murder of a Slovakian journalist has been highlighted in the European Parliament. MEPs yesterday called for an international investigation into the murder of Ján Kuciak and his fiancée, Martina Kušnírová. Mr Kuciak had been investigating alleged misuse of EU funds and potential links between organised crime groups and Slovak politicians when he was killed. MEPs are calling for an in-depth investigation into those allegations. The Slovak MEP Ivan Štefanec explains more about the work Mr Kuciak had been doing.
