Episode #4312 Mary and Lauretta discuss Sage Publications with Professor Michael New

This week, Sage Publications announced it was retracting three studies

which found that chemical abortions pose health risks. This has

received a great deal of media attention. These studies were cited by

Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in his April 2023 decision to suspend FDA

approval of mifepristone. Additionally, litigation over the regulation

of chemical abortion drugs continues. Professor Michael New, who holds both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. from Stanford University join Mary FioRito and Lauretta Froelich to discuss the controversy.
