Twice a month I publish a podcast devotional that centers around reading God’s word out loud. I choose one particular topic and share verses and passages of scripture related to that. In this week’s Grace for a Mom’s Heart Devotional, we are digging up truths in God’s word about His provision.

Fear and doubt can keep us from enjoying the assurance that God can and does take care of us. The enemy loves to use difficult circumstances or simply not knowing the truths of God’s word to discourage us and make us feel distanced from God.

God CAN and DOES take care of us, but it’s our job to meditate on what is true about Him and to continually bring our cares before Him, praying for eyes to see where He is, in fact, working because I guarantee you, moms, He IS moving and working all the time. Keeping the truths of His word in the forefront of our minds is what helps us continue to believe what’s true and to be able to rest and be at peace with trusting Him.
