A conversation with Cecilia Hernandez, Global Continuous Improvement Manager at Amphenol Advanced Sensors. Cecilia has been with Amphenol for six years and is based in Tijuana, Mexico. We talk about her unique and challenging role working with the gas, moisture, and temperature sensor teams to find inefficiencies and improve their businesses. We talk about the importance of statistics, data analytics, Six Sigma, the potential of AI, and using tacos as an example for explaining the importance of continuous improvement. We talk about living in the Tijuana area since birth, finding a path in industrial engineering, and then taking a break from work to backpack around Europe and Africa for six months after only planning on three weeks.
