Around the Parishes 5th March - Mountshannon

This week Host Jim Collins is joined on the phone by Ursula Hogan for all the news from Mountshannon.  News on a successful town and village  funding applaciton for a covering structure to be be built in the Aistear park. A recent evening of poetry took place in the church and there are a number of other events taking part as Mountshannon Arts Festival  has an extensive number of events planned for 2022. Ursula herself was out and about doing a lot of walking herself during the month of February in aid of women aid.
