Today, I have the distinct pleasure to not only brag about my home state but to welcome the first black woman chair of the Kansas Democratic Party, Jeanna Repass. Some may say that I am being biased due to being from Kansas, but this is an incredible moment to sit with a fellow state sister that is making progress possible.
