She Expands Her Business - Meet Katie Fergus

Until the 1st of July Katie Fergus, CPA had a "one-person" medical billing consulting business called FinanSynergy that helps medical professionals insight on ways to increase their revenue and deal with insurance companies. We spoke to her about that and the status of Iowa's For Profit Managed Care back in March of this year. Last week we heard that Katie had purchased Medical Billing Services a 30+ year company located in the East Village of Des Moines and suddenly she went from a one-person consulting business to having a team of two-dozen employees. Here we talk about her rapid growth, what she does for her clients and an update on Iowa's For-Profit Managed Care network. Lots of things to cover...let's go!
