Episode 189: Bromley Wheelchair Rugby begins

Darren Weale attends a wheelchair rugby night at The Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington and talks with Rob Wright and Lorna Maggs about the new Bromley Wheelchair Rugby Club, before he joins in and learns first hand how easy it is to start playing, but also how hard it could be to be really good at this friendly, rough and tumble sport which, unusually, has men and women playing in teams together. The club meets at The Walnuts every Thursday night at 8pm, and, courtesy of Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby, has on loan 8 of the specialised wheelchairs used in the sport.
