Kourtney shares her story of how God placed this call of orphan care ministry on her heart and what life looked like after. It may be odd to hear that a middle schooler was so sure that God was leading her to do something, but the "call" was really just God breaking Kourtney's heart for those who He would later use her to minister to. Life didn't dramatically change after those mission trips, and Kourtney faced many disappointments that eventually led her to have an incredible testimony. Hear how God fulfilled His promise to Kourtney in ways that she never dreamed possible!
There are no right or wrong answers that we can give to God. He knows each of our hearts and simply saying "Here I am Lord, send me" is an attitude God will honor. God can and will use heartbreak and disappointments to bring Glory to Himself and to reveal His heart for the fatherless. As you'll hear in this episode, Kourtney's story was not the one she wrote for herself, but looking back, she wouldn't change a thing about it.
