Galatians 2:11-17 - Jews and Gentiles live in Christ by Faith and not by Law

Continuing Verse by Verse, through Paul's letter to the Galatians we begin to see the problem of the false gospel that attempts to include being circumcised and keeping the law of Moses to the finished work of Jesus on the cross. The result of the false gospel is that the gentiles had to be a part of Israel through circumcision, and submit to keeping the law of Moses in order to have access to God. It meant being subject to the council of the Sanhedrin as the authority to teach them how to walk the accepted religious walk. Even today there are those in Messianic Judaism, and the Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) who believe that one must be grafted into Israel and keep the law. It was a false gospel then, and it still is.
