Overcoming adversity, becoming a Paralympian and finding joy in the process with Zak Skinner

Zak Skinner is a a remarkable athlete who represented Team GB in the long jump and 100m at the Paralympic Games in Paris.  Zak's journey is one of resilience and determination, shaped by his experiences growing up with a genetic condition that affects his vision, placing him in the T13 classification.

In this episode, Zak shares his story, beginning with his diagnosis of ocular albinism, which left him with severely underdeveloped eyesight. Despite these challenges, he has achieved incredible success in athletics, including being a para world bronze medallist and a double European gold medallist.
