For registered nurse Kellie Ann Forbes it began as a personal mission to better understand the devastating health impacts of smoking. Soon it became a professional crusade to not only better inform patients about the risks of smoking, but to the wide variety of options to quit—including vaping.

This mission brought her at loggerheads with medical colleagues and the mainstream medical profession, ensconced with anti-vaping dogma and misinformation. Thus, the Vaping Advocacy Education Project was born.
