There are events in life that are so harrowing that we need assistance from someone else. Adventurers and explorers over the years, when in dire situations, have shared stories of a mysterious addition to their party who provided support, encouragement, and guidance. Is it possible that it's our brain's reaction to the stressful event, or perhaps an Angel looking over us. Or is it The Third Man.
