In part three of this three-part series, Maempel takes us to the Ta’ Betta Wine Estates to taste some great local wine. We revisit Mdina, former capital of Malta, to see the old town up close and discover more places to dine and stay. We see Malta’s rugged coastline with one of the sandy beaches available to visitors and see the medieval watch towers that line the coast. We visit Anchor Bay, known as the film location for the movie “Popeye” with Robin Williams (and the Popeye village is still there).
