Market Close 1 Nov 21: Market snaps two-day losing streak

The Australian sharemarket rose by 0.64%, snapping a two-day losing streak and kicking of a new month in positive territory. Westpac (WBC) weighed most heavily, having its most significant tumble of the year after handing down its full year results.
