Market Close 2 Nov 18: Late rally helps ASX 200 finish higher

The local sharemarket has staged a stunning rebound in the final minutes of trade, sending the ASX 200 into positive territory. The index rose 8 points or 0.1% to 5,849, notching up its sixth straight day of gains.
