The COVID-19 pandemic showed the world that our pandemic monitoring systems could not prevent and detect the scale of the pandemic in a timely manner. The responses around the world were variable and differed by region. In this episode co-hosted with MohammadAli Jardali, we discuss with Antoine Saab, PhD, Healthcare Quality and Development Manager at Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui-UMC, his project "Strengthening Lebanon's pandemic surveillance system through AI-driven automation of laboratory data", which will be funded by the Canadian AI4PEP Funding Program.
