2022 Backyard Maple Sugaring Report & Grafting Wild Apple Trees

The sap buckets have been pulled from the trees, cleaned, and stacked back in the sugarhouse. My 2022 maple season is over; We'll report on how it boiled down and stacked up against prior years.

While the maple sugaring season may have ended, warmer temperatures lead to "bark-slip" or where a tree's bark can be peeled back. April & May is the season for grafting apple trees, & we'll discuss CFA's APPLE TREE GRAFTING PROGRAM for its members.
