Keeping God‘s Laws

Our sins have cut us off from God, and all of us have sinned and has come short of the glory of God and He does not hear sinners, but, whatsoever things we ask of Him we receive because we keep His commandment and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. Why do the churches of the world teach that you are cursed if you keep the commandments of God?
