Yogi Berra once said that baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical. Well, how does that translate into the world of bowling?

This week I am blessed to be joined by Diana Zavjalova, PWBA superstar, 4 time titles, two time USBC Queens champion and all around good person. I invited Diana onto the podcast following a post she shared on instagram regard her mental health how she has essentially gotten in her own way in seeking success by having a weak mental game.

We had a great conversation to learn more about her history in bowling, her rise to stardom at Webber State and in the PWBA, how she has never had a 'real' job, how the cancelling of the 2020 tour impacted her and what she has done to define the problem in her mental game and what she is doing about it.

In her time at Webber State, Diana was able to work briefly with Dr. Dean, renowned sports psychologist who focuses heavily on team play and individual confidence. In her professional career, Diana has sought out a psychology professional who speaks her native language to ensure that she is able to overcome her hurdles and regain her place at the top of the bowling world.
