As I listened to the various stories of people dying in prisons and jails because of medical neglect, I could not help but feel heavy-hearted. No one should be denied access to medical care when they are in the middle of a medical emergency. This is not public safety. If you have any ideas on what we can do in order to keep our community members safe while they are incarcerated, please reach out to us as we would love to hear your thoughts.

Call or email your legislators demanding them to fund Public Defenders Offices here in North Carolina it's a need for our community to insure they are being represented effectively and efficiently
