The Ecocide Report Episode 6: September 2023

Welcome to Episode 6 of The Ecocide Report! In this episode Chidi and Jojo recap some ecocide law highlights from June-September 2023, including recent proposed and progressing ecocide bills in the Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, Catalunya and Mexico, the backing of a resolution in support of an international crime of ecocide at the recent Global Greens Conference in South Korea, ongoing discussions around ecocide and the conflict in Ukraine, the launch of the Ocean for Ecocide Law network, the ecocide law initiative being represented at the upcoming African and New York Climate Weeks and look to the rest of the year including COP28 and the ICC Assembly of States Parties.
