God my exceeding joy (Psalm 43)

King David, exiled by a rebellion led by his son Absalom, asks why God has forsaken him. But he quickly discovers that God is teaching him a profound lesson, namely, that he must find his peace, hope and joy in God, whatever the circumstances and trials that life may bring.
