In this episode we meet up with Marianna Voulgaris, one of the most knowledgeable herbalists that we know.  We ask her about working with natural earth based medicines, and how they compare to modern pharmaceuticals in their effectiveness in healing our bodies.  Marianna is a wealth of knowledge and helps us understand how herbalism can in fact be better at treating the issues rather than just masking the symptoms.  She also has some recommendations of specific herbs to use for certain symptoms, how to make some of our own herbal medicines, and even recommends some resources to embark on your own personal study.
