Matt and Paul start out by discussing what the first college football playoff rankings could look like next week. The two of them discuss the merits of TCU, Wisconsin and Notre Dame and how they may fit into the playoff rankings. Next, Matt and Paul start recapping all the big games from Week 8. They discuss in great detail Florida State vs Louisville, Notre Dame vs USC, and Michigan vs Penn State. They discuss Lamar Jackson's development as a quarterback and the impact of selecting him to be your franchise quarterback. The two of them also discuss Josh Adams, Brandon Wimbush, and whether or not Notre Dame has the pass offense to compete with the top teams in the country. They also discuss Saquon Barkley and Sam Darnold and their performances from this past weekend.
